SOIL: Volcanic soil, rich in basaltic tuff – about 350 m above sea level
Winemaking
The grapes are carefully selected, choosing only the loosest bunches suitable for drying, which takes place in a naturally-aired environment for about four months. Traditional vinification in small oak barrels is followed by at least 24 months of ageing.
Tasting Notes
The colour is brilliant gold. The nose displays fresh tropical fruits, apricots and candied fruit. The wine is creamy on the palate, where sweetness and softness are perfectly balanced with freshness and richness of taste.
